Oregon vs. Oregon State- Part one

This is the first installment of my comparison of the two schools. Today we'll take a look at wealthy donors.

Representing Oregon we have Nike Co-Founder Phil Knight. Knight along with former U of O Track Coach Bill Bowerman started selling shoes from the back of a VW bus now Nike is the worlds largest Athletic Apparel company. Knight has donated millions of dollars to the University of Oregon, including a $100,000,000 gift this summer to set up an Athletic Legacy Fund.

AL Reser










Representing Oregon State we have Reser's Fine Foods chairman Al Reser. The Reser family have given several generous gifts to Oregon State University and the football stadium is name in his honor.
